Chocolate Frogs & Magical Wands

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 8 pretzel rods
  • edible glitter or sprinkles

Instructions
 

  • Place the chocolate in a bowl and microwave in 15 second increments, stirring in between, or until melted.
  • Pour half the chocolate into frog molds. Pour the other half in a tall drinking glass.
  • Swirl the pretzel rods in the glass to cover them half of the way with chocolate.
  • Refrigerate both until chocolate is set. (If using sprinkles, place on the wands before chocolate hardens).
  • Sprinkle with edible glitter, and serve.

Golden Snitches

Ingredients
  

  • 12 Ferrero Roche chocolates
  • golden paper wings (linked below)

Instructions
 

  • Remove the brown wrappers and stickers from the chocolates. Place the golden wings on top.

Troll Boogers

Ingredients
  

  • 12 cups popcorn
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • green and yellow food coloring

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium low heat, add the butter, sugar, and corn syrup. Mix until combined. Bring to a boil, and cook for 5 minutes without touching.
  • Turn off heat, and stir in the baking soda, vanilla, and food coloring.
  • Pour over the popcorn and stir quickly before it hardens.
  • Pour onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 1 hour ,stirring every 15 minutes.
  • Cool for 10-15 minutes, and then break into pieces.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

Savory Pumpkin Pasties

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
  • 2 TBSP butter
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg, for egg wash

Pastry

  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1/4 cup ice water

Instructions
 

  • To make the pastry, place the flour and salt in a food processor. Add in the cold butter and pulse, until it resembles coarse crumbs. Slowly add in the water and pulse, until a dough forms. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate 1 hour.
  • Heat the butter in a skillet over medium low heat. Add in the onions and sprinkle with salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes, or until onions are golden and caramelized.
  • In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin, onions, garlic powder, thyme, salt, pepper, and cheddar cheese.
  • Cut the pastry dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each into a 6 inch circle.
  • Place 1/4 cup of the pumpkin mixture on one side of each circle of dough. Brush the edges with water, and fold over to create a half moon shape. Crimp the edges together to seal.
  • Brush the tops with egg wash, and cut 3 small slits in the top of each.
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 25-35 minutes.

Easy Sausage Rolls

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 TBSP fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the sausage and spices.
  • Cut the sheet of puff pastry in half, vertically.
  • Divide the sausage in half and create 2 logs the length of each puff pastry piece.
  • Place them on one side of the puff pastry and brush the edge with egg wash.
  • Roll it up, pinching the seams together. Brush all over with egg wash.
  • Cut each into 6 pieces. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Butterbeer

Prep Time 5 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 16 ounces cream soda
  • 2 tsp butter extract
  • 2 TBSP butterscotch syrup
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Instructions
 

  • Freeze the glasses ahead of time to keep the drinks frosty.
  • Add 1/2 TBSP of butterscotch syrup to each glass, and 1 tsp butter extract.
  • Pour 8 ounces cream soda in each cup and stir.
  • Spray whipped cream on top and drizzle with more butterscotch syrup.
