Halloween isn’t just about candy and desserts! If you need a spooky, savory snack that’s easy to eat, while mingling, you’ve come to the right place! Today we are making Cheeseburger Ghost Pies! We’re taking all the delicious flavors of a classic cheeseburger and stuffing it into a flaky crust cut into the shape of a goofy ghost. They’re cute, hearty, and they’ll disappear faster than a phantom!

Cheeseburger Ghost Pies
Ingredients
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 TBSP ketchup
- 2 TBSP mayonnaise
- 1 TBSP mustard
- 2 TBSP diced dill pickles
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper
- 1 egg, whisked
- 4 pie crusts
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add a drizzle of oil. Add the onion and cook for about 5 minutes, or until softened.
- Add in the ground beef. Season with salt and pepper. Break apart the beef and cook until no longer pink, 5-8 minutes. Drain off any excess grease.
- Turn off the heat and add in the ketchup, mayo, mustard, pickles, and cheddar cheese. Stir until well combined.
- Using a ghost cookie cutter, cut shapes out of the pie crusts. Using a straw or a round piping tip, cut out eyes and a mouth on half of the ghosts.
- Lay the remaining ghosts on a parchment lined baking sheet. Add about 3 TBSP of filling on each ghost. Brush a little water along the edge, and place the ghosts with a face on the top. Press the edges with a fork to seal.
- Brush the tops of the pies with the egg.
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
