
Today we are making a classic steakhouse dinner menu at home! Perfect for special occasions or dinner parties with friends. This would also be perfect for Father’s Day! We are making all the classics- Garlic Herb Filet Mignon, Honey Garlic Shrimp, Crockpot Creamed Spinach, Classic Salty Steakhouse Baked Potatoes, and a beautiful Tiramisu!



Classic Tiramisu
Ingredients
- 4 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 8 ounces mascarpone
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups espresso, cooled
- 2 TBSP sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 TBSP Kahlua or rum
- 24 lady finger cookies
- 2 TBSP cocoa powder
- dark chocolate shavings, for topping
Instructions
- Combine the egg yolks and sugar in a heat proof bowl. Place over a saucepan of simmering water. Whisk, constantly, for 5 minutes, or until pale and silky.
- Fold in the mascarpone. Set aside.
- In a large bowl or stand mixer, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold into mascarpone mixture.
- In a shallow bowl or dish, combine the espresso, sugar, vanilla, and liquor. Dip half the lady fingers in the coffee. and place in a single layer in an 8×8 inch pan. Spread half the cream mixture on top. Dip the remaining lady fingers in espresso, placing in a single layer. Top with remaining cream.
- Cover, and refrigerate at least 4 hours (overnight is better).
- Dust with cocoa powder, and top with chocolate shavings.


Crockpot Creamed Spinach
Ingredients
- 8 ounces fresh spinach
- 3 ounces cream cheese
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Place the spinach in the slow cooker.
- In a saucepan or microwave safe bowl, combine the cream cheese, heavy cream, parmesan cheese, garlic, salt and pepper. Warm to melt the cream cheese.
- Pour over the spinach. Cook on low for 2-3 hours, or until the spinach is wilted and sauce is creamy. Top with shredded mozzarella, and cover to let melt, 5 minutes.


Steakhouse Baked Potatoes
Ingredients
- 4 russet potatoes
- 2 TBSP olive oil
- 1 TBSP salt (plus more for serving)
- 2 TBSP butter (or to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Wash the potatoes, and dry thoroughly.
- Coat the potatoes in oil, and sprinkle with salt. Rub into the skins. Place on a foil lined sheet pan with a wire rack. Bake for 1 hour.
- Split the potatoes. Scoop some of the potatoes from the sides. Add a pat of butter and a sprinkle of salt. Gently stir. Bake an additional hour.


Honey Garlic Shrimp
Ingredients
- 1 pound jumbo shrimp, peeled, deveined with tails on
- 5 TBSP butter, melted
- 1 TBSP honey
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients but the shrimp. Add the shrimp and stir to coat. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place the shrimp on a sheet pan, and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the shrimp are cooked through.
- You can also cook these in a skillet over medium high heat with a drizzle of oil, 2-3 minutes per side.


Garlic Herb Filet Mignon
Ingredients
- 4 filet mignon
- 3 TBSP oil
- salt
- 4 TBSP butter
- 2 large garlic cloves
- bunch fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme work well)
Instructions
- Allow the steaks to sit at room temperature 30 minutes before cooking.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Heat oil in a large cast iron pan or oven safe skillet for 2-3 minutes.
- Cook the filets for 2-3 minutes. Flip, and place a pat of butter on top of each steak. Add herbs and garlic to the pan. Spoon the melted sauce on top of the steaks a few times, and place pan in oven for 2-6 minutes depending on desired doneness. (Medium is 140-145 degrees internal temp).
- Let rest 5 minutes before cutting.
