Hey my ghouls! Today we are making some of my favorite Halloween recipes! We’ve got a great mix of cute and spooky, but all so hauntingly delectable! They are all so perfect for Halloween parties, kids and adults alike, or after a long night of trick or treating! We’ve got a lot to unbury…..so let’s go get started!

Witches Cold Brew

Witches Cold Brew

This cold brew coffee is topped with a pumpkin spice flavored foam, and perfect for a pick me up on Halloween before a long night of trick or treating!

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces cold brew coffee
  • 1 Tablespoon heavy cream
  • 1 Tablespoon milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch pumpkin spice
  • drop orange food coloring

Instructions
 

  • Sweeten cold brew to taste using a simple syrup (I like to use vanilla syrup).
  • In a food processor, blender, or with a stick blender, combine the heavy cream, milk, syrup, vanilla, pumpkin spice, and orange food coloring. Blend until frothy.
  • Pour over the cold brew coffee, and top with Halloween colored sprinkles!

Poison Apple Punch

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ounce grenadine
  • 1/3 cup apple cider
  • 1 1/2 ounces pomegranate juice
  • 1 1/2 ounces spiced rum
  • sprinkle gold edible glitter

Instructions
 

  • In a shaker full of ice, combine all ingredients, and shake until cold. Pour into a glass, and serve!

Notes

This can be made in a large batch in a punch bowl, and can be made non alcoholic by omitting the rum.

Spooky Halloween Pizzas

Spooky Halloween Pizzas

These mini biscuit pizzas are so fun and creative! Everyone can make their own spooky designs!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can biscuits
  • 1 jar pizza sauce
  • shredded mozzarella, sliced mozzarella, olives, bell peppers, pepperoni, shredded cheddar, and any other desired toppings

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Flatten out biscuits to make a round pizza dough. Spread with pizza sauce, and add desired toppings.
  • Some of our favorites: Strips of sliced mozzarella cheese and olives to make a mummy face. Using a pumpkin cookie cutter for the sliced mozzarella. Top with shredded cheddar, and a strip of green bell pepper for the stem. Use a ghost cookie cutter on sliced mozzarella!
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbling!

Mummy Dogs

These cute mummy dogs are a hit with kids and adult alike! Super quick and easy to make, but sure to impress!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can crescent dough
  • 8 hot dogs
  • candy eyes
  • mustard or American cheese, for gluing the eyes

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • Unroll the crescent dough and pinch together the seams. Cut into thin strips.
  • Wrap around the hot dogs, leaving room for the eyes.
  • Bake for 13-17 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • To stick on the candy eyes, use a dot of mustard or strip of American cheese.

Monster Mac and Cheese

Monster Mac and Cheese

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni, cooked to al dente
  • 4 cups baby spinach
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 Tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup white American cheese
  • 3 cups white cheddar cheese
  • 2/3 cup parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, combine the spinach with 1 cup of the milk. (You may need to add the spinach in batches). Blend until smooth, but do not over blend or it will lose the bright green coloring.
  • In a pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Pour in the remaining 1 1/2 cups milk, and spinach mixture.
  • Slowly add in all of the cheeses, stirring until melted.
  • Pour the sauce over the cooked pasta, and serve!

Notes

If making in advance, keep the cooked pasta and sauce separate.  When ready to serve, heat both and combine.

Boo-Berry Hand Pies

These cute hand pies are filled with blueberry, and topped with a sweet lemon glaze!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup blueberry pie filling
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons milk, divided
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Using a ghost cookie cutter, cut out as many shapes as you can (about 16).
  • On half of the cut outs, use a small piping tip to make eyes and a larger piping tip to make a mouth.
  • On the cutouts without faces, place a dollop of blueberry pie filling, making sure you leave an edge to seal.
  • Brush water around the outside and place the cutouts with faces on top. Use a fork around the outside to seal.
  • Brush 1 Tablespoon of milk on top of the ghost pies, and place on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 15-18 minutes, or until golden and puffy.
  • In a small bowl, combine the confectioners sugar, 1 Tablespoon of milk, and lemon juice. Brush all over the cooled Boo-berry pies!

Raw Meat Rice Krispies

Raw Meat Rice Krispies

These spooky rice krispie treats look like meat, but they are sweet and delicious! Great for a Halloween party or fun prank!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag mini marshmallows
  • 1 stick butter
  • few drops red food coloring
  • 6 ounces rice krispie cereal

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, melt the butter and marshmallows. Add red food coloring until desired color is reached.
  • Working quickly, stir in the rice krispies and turn off the heat.
  • Spray hands with cooking spray, and form the krispies into meat patties, or a log that looks like ground beef. Place on foam meat trays, and wrap with plastic wrap. when cooled.

Halloween Swirl Brownies

These brownies are swirled with orange cheesecake and perfect for Halloween!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box brownie mix, made according to package directions (not baked)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • orange food coloring

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, sugar, egg, vanilla, and orange food coloring. Using a hand mixer, blend until smooth.
  • Line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper. Pour the brownie mix in the pan, reserving 1/4 cup of the batter.
  • Pour the cream cheese mixture on top. Dollop the remaining brownie mix on top, and use a knife to swirl the layers together.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
