Homemade Fruit Roll-Ups | Easy Back-to-School Snack

Today we’re making homemade fruit roll-ups — a fun, fruity, nostalgic snack that’s perfect for lunchboxes, after-school treats, or anytime you want something sweet made from real fruit.

These are fresh, chewy, kid-friendly, and so much easier than they look. You only need a few simple ingredients, and once they’re dried and rolled up, they feel just like the lunchbox snacks we grew up with — but homemade.

Homemade Fruit Roll Ups

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups fresh fruit
  • 1-2 TBSP lemon juice
  • 2-4 TBSP honey or maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, combine all ingredients and puree.
  • Preheat oven to the lowest temperature setting, about 200 degrees. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  • Spread the mixture out into a very even layer. Bake for 3-6 hours, or until no longer tacky to the touch and wrinkly.
  • *Tip* If you think it's done, try to peel the corner up. If it comes up easily, it's ready. If it sticks, give it another 30 minutes.
