  • 12 peanut butter sandwich cookies (like Nutter butters)
  • 12 orange M&M's or Reeses Pieces
  • 1 tube red decorating frosting

Course Dessert, Snack
Servings 12

Ingredients

  • 6 pretzel rods, broken in half
  • 1 1/2-2 cups white chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • 12 ounces mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 cups Cocoa Krispies cereal

Instructions

  • Melt the chocolate in a bowl. Dip the broken pretzel rods into the chocolate until covered half way.
  • Place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Press 2 mini marshmallows on the bottom of the pretzel rod to form the bone.
  • Cool in the refrigerator for 5 minutes. Dip them again into the chocolate to coat the marshmallows. Allow to set.
  • In a large pot over medium low heat, melt the butter. Stir in the remaining marshmallows. Stir continuously, or until they are fully melted.
  • Turn off the heat and stir in the vanilla. Then, fold in the cocoa krispies until combined. Let cool for 5-7 minutes.
  • Grab about 1/2 cup of the krispie mixture for each drum stick. If still hot, place in a mound on top of the bone and let cool a bit longer. Mold the mixture around the pretzel to form a turkey leg shape.
