Today I’m making Chick-fil-A at home with a crispy chicken sandwich and their iconic kale crunch salad. This copycat recipe has all the flavor you love — juicy chicken, crunchy coating, and that classic sweet-and-tangy kale salad — but made right in your own kitchen.
If you’re craving fast food but want to save money (or just stay home), this homemade Chick-fil-A meal is surprisingly easy and SO satisfying. Perfect for weeknight dinners, weekend cooking, or when the drive-thru line is way too long.

Homemade Chik-Fil-A Style Chicken Sandwich
Ingredients

- 1 cup pickle juice
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 TBSP powdered sugar
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp pepper

- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 4 burger buns (brioche if possible)
- pickles, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and cheese for serving
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken thighs in the pickle juice for about 1 hour.
- Combine the flour, powdered sugar, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder on a plate.

- Remove the chicken thighs from the pickle juice. Dip in the egg mixture, the flour mixture, then back into the egg, and back into the flour.

- Serve on lightly toasted buns with desired toppings.
