3 Dump & Go Summer Slow Cooker Dessert Recipes

Today we are making 3 beautiful summer desserts that are cooked right in the slow cooker. No fuss, no heating up the kitchen, but absolutely delicious and full of fresh summer flavors. We will be making Slow Cooker Peach Cobbler, Slow Cooker S’mores Brownies, and Slow Cooker Key Lime Cake!

Slow Cooker Peach Cobbler

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 29 ounce can peaches in juice
  • 1 TBSP brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup butter, cubed

Instructions
 

  • Lightly grease the slow cooker. Dump the whole can of peaches (juice and all) into the slow cooker.
  • Add in the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir to combine.
  • Sprinkle the cake mix on top. Place the cubed butter on top.
  • Cook on high for 2-3 hours, or until golden brown and bubbling.

Slow Cooker S’mores Brownies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box brownie mix, prepared according to package directions
  • 3 large bars Hershey's chocolate
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup graham crackers, crushed

Instructions
 

  • Place a large piece of parchment paper in the bottom of the slow cooker. Pour the brownie batter into the slow cooker. Cook on low for 2-21/2 hours.
  • Place the chocolate bars on top, and place the lid back on the slow cooker for 5 minutes, or until melted.
  • Sprinkle the marshmallows on top, and cover an additional 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle graham crackers on top.
  • Using the parchment paper, lift the brownies out and allow to cool on wire rack.

Slow Cooker Key Lime Cake

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup key lime yogurt
  • 2 limes

Key Lime Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 TBSP butter
  • 1 TBSP lime juice
  • 1 TBSP milk
  • 1/2 tsp lime zest

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine the yellow cake, eggs, oil, and yogurt. Zest the limes and squeeze the lime juice into the cake batter. Stir to combine.
  • Place a large piece of parchment paper into a slow cooker. Pour the cake batter into the bottom. Cook on high for 1 1/2-2 hours, or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Using the parchment paper, lift the cake out of the slow cooker and cool on a wire rack.
  • To make the glaze, combine the powdered sugar, lime juice, milk, butter, and zest. Add more milk, if needed.
  • Spread the glaze all over the cooled cake.
