Today we are making my Slow Cooker Rotisserie Chicken! I love making my own rotisserie chicken at home because not only is it super easy, but I can control how much salt and other ingredients are going into it, it’s cheaper than a store bought one, and it makes the most juicy, tender, flavorful chicken EVER! Say goodbye to dry grocery store chicken that sat under the heat lamp too long, and hello to your new go to recipe!

Slow Cooker Rotisserie Chicken
Ingredients
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 3 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 whole chicken (about 4 pounds), neck and giblets removed
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine all the spices.
- Make 4 balls out of tinfoil and place in the bottom of slow cooker to create a rack. Pat the chicken dry and place on top of the foil balls. Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low 7-8 hours, or on high 4-5 hours, or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
- To crisp up the skin, place the chicken on a sheet pan and broil for 3-5 minutes.
