In a large bowl of a stand mixer, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and sugar, until combined.
Add in the eggs, and stir. Then add in the vanilla. Mix, scraping the sides and bottom of the bowl in between.
Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add into the wet mixture until a dough is formed.
Stir in the chocolate chips by hand.
Scoop the cookies out (I use a 4 TBSP scoop) onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Freeze on the pan, then transfer cookie dough balls to a zip top bag or air tight container.
To Bake: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place cookies 2 inches apart on a sheet pan, and bake from frozen 17-20 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges.
