Epcot’s Canada Pavillion sells Maple Popcorn that is incredible on its own, but when Flower and Garden Festival comes around, they turn it into a shake! You also have the option of adding whiskey to it, if you’d like! Such a delicious sweet treat to walk around with!
Ingredients
+ 1/2 cup maple syrup
+ 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
+ 4 cups popcorn (about 1 microwave bag)
+ 1/4 cup maple syrup
+ 1 pint vanilla ice cream
+ 1/2 cup milk
+ whiskey (optional)
In a small saucepan over medium heat, add the 1/2 cup maple syrup and vanilla extract. Simmer gently for about 5 minutes, or until reduced slightly. Pour over the popcorn and spread onto a parchment lined baking sheet to cool.
Meanwhile, add the 1/4 cup of maple syrup to a blender with the ice cream, and milk. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses, top with the maple popcorn, and add whiskey if desired.
