Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, combine the buttermilk, eggs, and butter. Pour into dry ingredients.
Fold in the corn and cheddar. Scoop into a mini muffin tin about 3/4 of the way full.
Bake for 12- 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Combine the butter and honey. Brush on the tops of the warm muffins.
