Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a 9x13 inch dish with parchment. Stand the taco shells in the dish, and bake for 4 minutes. Set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, drizzle some oil in the pan, and add the onions and chicken. Cook until the onions are softened and chicken is cooked through.
Stir in the garlic, and cook an additional 30 seconds.
Add in the seasonings, followed by the green chiles, tomatoes, and salsa. Bring to a simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in beans.
Place a sprinkle of cheese in the bottom of each shell. Divide the filling among the taco shells. Top with remaining shredded cheese.
Bake for 10 minutes, or until melted and golden.
